Advice and Counsel
We provide legal advice and counsel that helps your organization make important decisions related to your federal funding. We offer guidance on best practices for complying with federal grant law, including specific programmatic requirements as well as the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements of Federal Awards (commonly referred to as the "Uniform Grants Guidance" or the "UGG").​​Help federally funded organizations navigate the sometimes-complicated process of constructing, renovating, or leasing property with federal funds. We also negotiate a variety of subrecipient and contractor agreements to assist federally supported organizations incorporate provisions necessary to maintain compliance with funding restrictions.
Representation and Advocacy
We defend and advocate for your organization in disputes related to your federal funding before federal courts and administrative bodies like the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Departmental Appeals Board. Issues include, but are not limited to, grant disallowances, grant terminations, False Claims Act defense, enforcement of payment rights under the grant.
